What is a Snowbird? - Who are Snowbirds?

A Snowbird is anyone, usually retired, seasonal worker or business owner, who leaves the cold northern weather behind and heads off to a warmer area of the globe just like the Wild Geese (or Snowbirds) of the northern hemisphere that head south for the winter.

UK Snowbirds may be second property owners in the sun or a Snowbird can be one who owns a Motor home, Tent, Campervan or Caravan and can be mobile over each season. A Snowbird can also be someone who just wants to stay in affordable hotels in different places at different times over the winter.

Snowbirds are usually active people who just want to be warm, but not at the expense of their local Electricity Board or British Gas!
